A Band - Anusol

Review by Sherie Libby

Anusol, the latest album by A Band, is a wild ride through experimental soundscapes and unconventional musical structures. The band's fearless approach to music-making is on full display here, with each track offering a unique blend of dissonant melodies, unexpected rhythms, and haunting vocals.

At times, Anusol can be challenging to listen to, as the band toys with dissonance and noise in a way that can be jarring. But for those who are willing to go along for the ride, the album is a fascinating exploration of what can be done with sound.

There are moments of beauty on Anusol as well, such as the haunting piano melody on "Sorrowful Song" or the shimmering guitar on "Sunset on the Mountain." These moments provide a welcome respite from the chaos that surrounds them.
