Between the genres= classic rap Aceyalone is a member of Freestyle Fellowship and the record label Project Blowed. He has also worked on a few projects with other labelmates and producers. This album was produced by longtime collaborator Mumbles.When "Forward" comes on, it's a simple instrumental. It's like front cover binding of a book which you are opening when you hit play on the disc. It's melodic and boom bap, and sets up the rests of the album by allowing the audience a moment to breathe, reflect on previous listens, and to meditate. It's not everyday that you'll see me suggest meditation to an album.'A Book of Human Language' plays like a jazz album. The lyrics are non-confrontational, and anti-violent. The master of ceremonies rarely swears, because it is needless. Each track represents a chapter in the 'Book.' The first song after the intro and the "Guidelines" which is the roughest song on the album for an aestheticism standpoint, is a table of contents entitled "Contents."It's unexplainable, but it deals with the human community, communication, society, and the human condition which is unified throughout everyone's lives. By following simple totems of human life, rather than the streets or politics, Aceyalone taps into an unharvested field of intrepid rap lyricism and orchestrations of emotional vignettes.This is one of the best albums of all time.
