ApologetiX's album "From Hair to Eternity" is a clever and entertaining collection of parodies and original songs that pay tribute to classic rock and roll. The band's knack for reworking popular hits with humorous and thought-provoking lyrics is on full display in tracks like "Bethlehemian Rhapsody" (a Christmas-themed take on Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody") and "Hotel Can't Afford Ya" (a tongue-in-cheek critique of the high cost of travel). The album also features some standout original songs, including the catchy "Corinthians" and the poignant "I Have a Friend." "From Hair to Eternity" is a fun and engaging listen that showcases ApologetiX's musical talent and wit.

Notes
We love clever hair salon names. Some of our favorites include Hairway to Heaven, The Hairport, The Tortoise and the Hair, and Curl Up and Dye. If you comb the Net (the internet, not the hair net), you'll find that all those names have multiple mentions at various venues.
Consequently, when we titled this disc From Hair to Eternity, we supposed some salon had selected it sooner. We're musicians, not beauticians, but the place where we played our first concert (and nearly 50 of our first 100) was once a hair salon. That concert was back in '92, which seems like an eternity ago.
This CD spoofs songs spanning from '81-'87 — a hairy time in rock history — from New Wave to Glam Metal, with mullets in the middle. That's quite a quantity of coiffures of questionable quality. Hairstyles change, and even permanents aren't permanent, but eternity is. And that's where we're all headed.
Jesus said the hairs on your head are numbered (Matt. 10:30, Luke 12:7), so God cares about even the smallest details of your existence, both in the "hair and now" and the "hairafter." Talk daily to Him. Find a Bible and pick it up. That'll help you brush up for eternity.
