The Aquabats! - Charge

Aquabats! have been entertaining fans with their unique brand of ska-punk for over two decades, and their latest album "Charge" is no exception. From the opening track "Stuck in a Movie" to the closing number "Pajamazon!", the album is a high-energy, fun-filled ride that showcases the band's trademark humor and catchy hooks.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Radio Down!", which features a driving beat and a chorus that will have fans singing along in no time. "The Shark Fighter!" is another highlight, with its infectious melody and playful lyrics about battling a shark with a chainsaw.
While some may dismiss Aquabats! as a novelty act, the band's musicianship and songwriting skills are on full display throughout "Charge". Tracks like "In My Dreams!" and "Hey Homies!" demonstrate the band's ability to craft memorable pop songs that are both fun and musically satisfying.

They are best known for their mythology, in which they claim to be superheroes on a quest to save the world from evil through music. As a part of this mythology the band members have adopted superhero pseudonyms and dress in matching costumes.

This is, without a doubt, the best album by The Aquabats. I remember some of their shows in 2005, they came out to a stage filled with fog and launched into Fashion Zombies, crowd going crazy and singing the "whoas," just epic.

Not ashamed to say that this is probably my favorite album by The Aquabats. I don't skip a single song on this record...can't say that about all their other albums. The other albums are GREAT, but there's always that song or two that I'm just usually not in the mood for (Attacked by Snakes, Monster Wedding, The Baker).
