Review by Johanne Hernandez

The album "Violin Concerto Concerto Rhapsody" by Aram Khachaturian, Antje Weithaas, Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie, and Daniel Raiskin is a captivating and impressive musical experience. The combination of Khachaturian's brilliant composition, Weithaas' virtuosic violin playing, and the skillful orchestration of the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie under the direction of Raiskin creates a mesmerizing performance that is both powerful and beautiful.

The album features two of Khachaturian's most famous works, the Violin Concerto and the Concerto Rhapsody for violin and orchestra. Weithaas' interpretation of these pieces is nothing short of stunning, as she brings out the emotional depth and technical brilliance of Khachaturian's music. The Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie provides a rich and dynamic accompaniment that perfectly complements Weithaas' playing.
