I love the Bangs! Great power pop. I saw them many times at the Fast Lane in Asbury Park. First time they opened for Gary US Bonds, then many times as headliners. They opened for the Stray Cats at the Fountain Casino. Gary was a cool ass front man . Dancing and gyrating to the music. I believe they were from Weehawken. And I think some of the member ls evolved into the Back Burners. ?
