Review by Shawn Collins

Björn J:son Lindh's album Sissel is a beautiful and haunting tribute to the Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø. The album features Lindh's signature blend of jazz, rock, and classical music, with Sissel's ethereal vocals soaring over the top.

The album opens with "My Heart," a gentle and introspective track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. Sissel's voice is delicate and vulnerable, perfectly complementing Lindh's lush orchestration. "Inner Beauty" is another standout track, with Lindh's flute taking center stage and Sissel's vocals adding a dreamlike quality.

Throughout the album, Lindh's arrangements are masterful, with each instrument and voice weaving seamlessly together. The result is a rich and textured sound that is both soothing and uplifting.
