Review by Eric Kingsland

Bobby Crush's album, "The Entertainer and Other Piano Favourites," is a delightful collection of classic tunes that showcase the pianist's exceptional talent. From the opening track, "The Entertainer," Crush's playing is lively and energetic, with each note ringing clear and true. His renditions of popular songs such as "Moon River" and "As Time Goes By" are equally impressive, with his skillful use of dynamics and phrasing bringing new life to these timeless melodies.

One of the standout tracks on the album is Crush's rendition of "Rhapsody in Blue," which is a true tour de force of piano playing. His interpretation of this iconic piece is both faithful to the original and uniquely his own, with his virtuosic playing capturing every nuance of the music.
