About Brooks And Jerry
Brooks ODell was born in 1933 in Philadelphia. He began his singing career in 1955 in Chicago where he would join up with . The group, working out of Philadelphia, would often back the Cameo-Parkway artists. After some time with the Commanders ODell would form the Majestics.
He is considered somewhat of a soul music aficionados cult figure.
In the 1970s Brooks would move over to Swamp Doggs Mankind label where he would join Freddie North and Doris Duke on the label.
