The Buck Pets have been an integral part of the alternative rock scene since the late 1980s, and their latest release, Car Chase, is a testament to their enduring appeal. The album is a high-energy, guitar-driven affair that showcases the band's signature sound.
From the opening track "Perfect Teeth" to the closing notes of "Stuck in a Rut," Car Chase is a non-stop barrage of catchy riffs and infectious melodies. The band's tight musicianship is on full display throughout the album, with each member contributing to the overall sound.
One of the standout tracks is "Don't Be Afraid of the Dark," which features a driving rhythm section and a memorable chorus. Other highlights include "Treat Me Right," with its punk-infused guitar riffs, and "Burning," a slow-burning rocker that builds to a frenzied climax.
