Whereas 'No Second chance' was two thirds killer material and one third average, 'Lines' more or less switches this ratio. It would be unfair to say Lines is terrible as the band still uses a lot of the same stylistic elements and there's enough attention to detail to ensure that there are bright spots sprinkled throughout. But overall it sounds simpler and less inspired. The tracks 'Out of Control' and 'No Stranger in Paradise' are still very enjoyable though.
