Review by Messias Douglas

The album "My Funny Valentine" by Chet Baker and Bill Evans is a classic jazz album that showcases the talents of two of the greatest musicians of their time. Released in 1955, the album features a collection of popular jazz standards, including "My Funny Valentine," "I Fall in Love Too Easily," and "But Not for Me."

The album is a perfect blend of Baker's smooth and mellow trumpet playing and Evans' delicate and intricate piano playing. The chemistry between the two musicians is evident in every track, as they effortlessly complement each other's playing.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "My Funny Valentine," which features Baker's hauntingly beautiful trumpet playing and Evans' delicate piano accompaniment. The two musicians create a melancholic and introspective mood that perfectly captures the song's lyrics.

Another highlight of the album is "I Fall in Love Too Easily," which features Baker's tender and vulnerable vocals. Evans' piano playing is once again the perfect complement to Baker's singing, creating a sense of intimacy and emotional depth.
