Review by Vanda Ungureanu

The album "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood Brand New Hairdo" by Costello Show Featuring Elvis Costello is a must-listen for fans of rock and roll. The album features 12 tracks that showcase the band's versatility and Elvis Costello's signature vocals.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "The Only Flame In Town," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The songs range from the energetic and danceable "Lovable" to the more introspective and melancholic "The Comedians."

The standout track on the album is undoubtedly the title track, "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood." Costello's emotive vocals paired with the band's dynamic instrumentation make for a powerful and unforgettable performance.

This version is much closer to the Nina Simone original than to the Animals. Also covered by the Moody Blues for the BBC. I put that one, this one and the original in my "Animals covered.." playlist. Thanks for the upload!

Great vocal! I read in Costello’s autobiography that he had laryngitis when recording this vocal. Still sounds great
