About The Crickets
US American band, which started in the 1950s with members: (real name: Charles Hardin Holley) (vocals/guitar), Jerry Allison (drums), Niki Sullivan (guitar) and Joe Mauldin (bass). Member Niki Sullivan left in 1958 and Buddy Holly died in 1959. Afterwards the band was kept alive by Jerry Allison, who still recorded and toured with various line-ups, including some with the early sixties personnel.

Earl Sinks was decent singer, must have been hard for JI and JB to get into a studio after Bud passed away. Why is the vid of Jerry Naylor singing My Little Girl or Teardrops fall Like Rain ??

Great song but it was overlaid on the video of The Crickets singing “My Little Girl” as their lips obviously don’t match the song that they’re meant to be singing.

Non-existent lipsynch! I still can't watch music videos - unreal.

So happy when I hear this I smile I think about the times when I was 13 and I fell in love with everyone

Where's Joe B and Jerry

It is indeed Earl Sinks singing-great voice amazing on In Style with the Crickets including I fought the Law. Jerry Naylor was outside of Don;t Ever Change a very moderate singer!!

I suppose it's near impossible to play live in these videos. It's a bit upsetting, I think. It seems to be on lots of people's stuff!

What is he miming, or is it the synch?
2023-04-04
Not to mention Glen D Hardin playing piano and fender Rhodes Piano Bass
