Review by Ermanno Cecconetto

Sweet Charity, an album by Cy Coleman, Dorothy Fields, and Martin Yates, is a delightful collection of songs that captures the essence of the classic musical. The album features an impressive lineup of performers, including Denise Van Outen, Kerry Ellis, and Michael Xavier, who bring their own unique style to the songs.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Big Spender," which sets the tone for the rest of the album. The songs that follow are equally impressive, with standout tracks including "If My Friends Could See Me Now" and "I Love to Cry at Weddings," both of which showcase the incredible vocal range of the performers.

One of the highlights of the album is the stunning duet between Van Outen and Ellis on "There's Gotta Be Something Better Than This." Their voices blend beautifully together, creating a truly mesmerizing performance.
