About Dalva De Oliveira

Dalva de Oliveira (Rio Claro, May 5, 1917 - Rio de Janeiro, August 30, 1972) was a Brazilian singer. Daughter of a mulatto carpenter, Mario de Paula Oliveira, known as Mario Carioca, and Alice do Espírito Santo Oliveira, Vincentina de Paula Oliveira was born on May 5, 1917 in the city of Rio Claro, São Paulo. In 1935, the Cine Pátria, Dalva meet that formed beside the Francisco Sena the Preto e Branco duet, the duet was finished and began the Trio de Ouro. They started dating, and the following year began a conjugal life, formalized in 1939 in a ritual of Umbanda. The union produced two sons: the singer and .
