Review by Joseph Rodriquez

Dawn Featuring Tony Orlando's Greatest Hits album is an incredible compilation of some of the most memorable songs of the 1970s. The album features 11 tracks that showcase the group's signature blend of pop, rock, and soul, and highlights Tony Orlando's powerful vocals and Dawn's tight harmonies.

The album opens with the upbeat and catchy "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree," which is followed by other chart-topping hits such as "He Don't Love You (Like I Love You)," "Say, Has Anybody Seen My Sweet Gypsy Rose," and "Candida." Each track is a testament to the group's ability to deliver catchy, memorable tunes that have stood the test of time.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Knock Three Times," which features Tony Orlando's impressive vocal range and showcases the group's ability to create a catchy melody that sticks in your head long after the song is over. Another highlight is the soulful "Steppin' Out (Gonna Boogie Tonight)," which features Dawn's tight harmonies and a funky bassline that makes you want to dance.

When I was a wee little kid back in the 70s, 'Knock Three Times' was my favourite.
But ... lately, I've been listening to this one a lot !!!

This was always my favorite of all of their songs. I could never figure out why it wasn't as bit a hit as "Knock Three Times" or "Yellow Ribbon". Great lyrics, and Tony, Joyce and Telma sang the hell out of it.

I hear some people get married in the park on Sunday afternoon
And all their friends bring pretty flowers while the band plays a happy
Tune Now do you want me, do you need me, Do you love me like I love you?
Ooo

What are you doing Sunday baby? Would you like to marry me?
What do you say now? If it's a nice day now
What are you doing Sunday baby? Gee, I want to marry you
Oh, what are you doing Sunday afternoon?

Maybe we should wait 'til night to join hands 'neath the stars above
And we'll be kissing our first kiss by moonlight as we vow eternal love
Now do you want me, do you need me, Do you love me like I love you? Ooo

What are you doing Sunday baby? Would you like to marry me?
What do you say now? If it's a nice day now
What are you doing Sunday baby? Gee, I want to marry you
Oh, what are you doing Sunday afternoon?

Now do you want me, do you need me, baby
Love me like I love you?

What are you doing Sunday baby? Would you like to marry me?
What do you say now? If it's a nice day now
What are you doing Sunday baby? Gee, I want to marry you
