Review by Gail Tracy

The album "Was Good For You" by Death is a masterpiece of death metal music. It is the band's ninth studio album and was released in 1995. The album features a mix of fast-paced, aggressive tracks and slower, more melodic songs.

The album opens with the powerful track "The Philosopher", which showcases the band's technical prowess and tight musicianship. Other standout tracks on the album include "Trapped in a Corner", "Symbolic", and "Zero Tolerance".

One of the strengths of "Was Good For You" is the way it balances brutality with melody. The band's musicianship is on full display throughout the album, with intricate guitar riffs and thunderous drumming.

The vocals on the album are also impressive, with frontman Chuck Schuldiner delivering guttural growls and piercing screams that perfectly match the intensity of the music.
