Inception, the latest album from French rapper Deen Burbigo, is a masterclass in lyricism and storytelling. The 13-track album showcases Burbigo's ability to weave intricate rhymes and vivid imagery together, transporting the listener to the streets of Paris and beyond.
The album's opening track, "Intro", sets the tone for what's to come, with Burbigo delivering a powerful spoken-word piece over a haunting piano melody. From there, the album takes off, with tracks like "Exercice de style" and "Le même sort" showcasing Burbigo's technical prowess and ability to craft complex, multi-layered verses.
One of the standout tracks on the album is "Le bruit qui court", which features a haunting beat and a chorus that will stick with you long after the album has ended. The song's lyrics touch on themes of paranoia and mistrust, and Burbigo's delivery is nothing short of mesmerizing.
