DJ Taucher - EP2

EP2 is the latest offering from DJ Taucher, a veteran of the electronic dance music scene. The album features six tracks, each showcasing Taucher's signature blend of melodic techno and progressive house.
The opening track, "Ascend," sets the tone for the album with its soaring synths and driving bassline. "Euphoria" follows suit, with its ethereal pads and hypnotic groove. "In the Dark" takes a darker turn, with its brooding atmosphere and haunting vocals.
The standout track on the album is "Electricity," a high-energy banger that will get any dancefloor moving. "Sunrise" provides a welcome respite from the intensity, with its dreamy melodies and uplifting chords. The album closes with "Echoes," a moody track that brings things full circle.

Taucher won notoriety for his unusual stage antics, appearing as a scuba diver, in a wedding dress, performing amateur ballet, and deejaying upside down. His remix of DJ Tandu's hit "Ayla" was an international club hit in Europe, and since then he has remixed for Culture Beat, Faithless, Robert Miles and Cherry Moon Trax, among others.
His 1999 compilation Life Is a Remix was a success, as was his Live at Webster Hall, New York City, which peaked at #43 on the US Billboard Heatseekers chart in 2000.
