Drawn and Quartered's album Merciless Hammer of Lucifer is a relentless and unapologetic assault on the senses. The band's signature blend of death and black metal is on full display, with crushing riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals that will leave listeners reeling.
The album opens with the title track, a blistering onslaught of blast beats and tremolo-picked guitars that sets the tone for what's to come. From there, the band doesn't let up, delivering one brutal track after another. "Carnage atrocity" is a standout, with its pummeling drums and dissonant chords, while "Suffer for thy name" showcases the band's ability to craft memorable hooks amidst the chaos.

About Drawn And Quartered
The band first started off as 's own project . In 1993 joined the band with a couple other members and they released a demo called "Bubonic Death" which contained all music written by Kelley prior to the band's formation. It was distributed by . They soon changed their name to Drawn and Quartered. After that Kelly used the name as a continuation of his project.
was the band's drummer up to 2002, when he and the band mutually agreed he should join full time.

The band's 2007 album Merciless Hammer of Satan is more of the same brand of post-Morbid Angel songwriting with diminished harmonies and other twists which manage to make it more memorable than their average releases. However, it's still far from being a strong listening. The band released also three more albums, 2012's Feeding Hell's Furnace and 2018's The One Who Lurks.Highlights: "Sickness Redeemer".
