Earls - I Believe

Review by Pete Boniface

The album "I Believe" by Earls is a soulful and uplifting collection of songs that showcase the band's talents and versatility. From the opening track "I Believe" to the closing "Amazing Grace," each song is crafted with care and attention to detail.

The album features a range of musical styles, including gospel, R&B, and soul, all of which are expertly executed by the band. The vocals are particularly impressive, with lead singer Earl Martin delivering powerful and emotive performances throughout.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "He's Coming Back," which features a catchy chorus and a driving rhythm section. Another highlight is "I'll Go," a beautiful ballad that showcases the band's harmonies and Martin's vocal range.

I saw them sing this at the NEW YORK Academy of Music. It was dedicated to an earlier member of the group who went in the Army and was killed.

He's still alive thank God. Sadly, I've noticed that he plays this song faster, and his high notes sometimes crack, and he coughs here and there. I'm not making fun of him, trust me, I'm not. I'm thankful that my dad took me to doo wop shows at the age of 9 I believe, (now I'm 24). I got to grow up watching Kid Kyle become famous (we're pretty much the same age). He's a nice guy in person too!!! It was lovely to see this song played at the original tempo because of how emotional it is and gets, especially when Larry hits that high F#, and the emotion is all over the place. Cherish everything you have in life, because once it starts to fade away, you can't get it back, and you'll be sad with regret for not cherishing all the memories and things you had. Keep on singing Larry, and I hope to see you perform this song again, even if it's not the exact same as the original, because I'm glad with what I've got, and it's better than nothing!!! Peace and love to all of you!!! I wish I can keep the music alive, but none of my friends seem to help me keep it alive; their poor taste, their loss. Have a wonderful day, and thank you so much for the upload!!!
