Earth - Resurrection City Comical Man

Review by Lukman Hqeem

Earth's Resurrection City Comical Man is a stunning album that showcases the band's versatility and creativity. From start to finish, the album is a journey through different soundscapes, each one more mesmerizing than the last.

The album opens with "The Dry Lake," a haunting track that sets the tone for what's to come. It's followed by "Tethered to the Polestar," a slow-burning gem that features beautiful guitar work and a hypnotic rhythm.

As the album progresses, Earth takes the listener on a journey through various moods and textures. "The Colour of Poison" is a brooding, atmospheric piece that builds to a powerful crescendo, while "The Mandrake's Hymn" is a dreamy, ethereal track that transports the listener to another world.

But the real standout on Resurrection City Comical Man is the title track. Clocking in at over 20 minutes, it's an epic journey that's both beautiful and unsettling. The track ebbs and flows, taking the listener through a range of emotions and soundscapes.
