This tune is so beautifully produced. The Eighties Ladies were truly amazing. Their combined and individual complex multilayered octave vocal ability is outstanding. They were way ahead of the musical era and genre of that time, way, way ahead. Finally, Listen closely to the complex (off beat), though simply played, intricate haunting multiple horn section. The horns specifically play in an almost delayed unison manner. The sections play in and out at a particular point in time. It's as though the various horn sections are playing tag with each other; each section is teasing the other. During this era, there were no music (computer) sequencers to make things easier for musicians, multiple, studio session takes and technique created this beautiful sound. This really is musicianship at its finest, combined and created with one of the greatest music producers.
