- This documentary tells how necessity assisted the pioneer b-boys/ break-dancers in South Africa to create events and opportunities for dancers by hosting workshops and then competitions and then events like African Battle Cry and Battle of the Year, South Africa. This created many more dancers, while also feeding the culture with opportunities for new dancers, MCs, DJs and Graffiti Artists to learn more about the culture and their skill. It also gives voice to many of the first generation dancers that are often forgotten. It tries to supply a first person experience of Hip Hop in South Africa and also exposes the work done by Heal the Hood Project (www.healthehood.org.za) over the last 13 years and still bein done. It also exposes the industries lie of fame fro many artists and the reality of survival as an artist.
