What are you people talking about? The genesis of this song dates back to a song composed, recorded, and released in 1934 by Buddy Moss. It's called "Hey Lawdy Mama." In 1961 Willie Dixon made some significant changes, and it was recorded and released by Howlin Wolf. "Meet Me At the Bottom." Bonner recorded the Dixon/Wolf version in 1968. When the T-Birds released this version, they unethically gave nobody song writing credit. It is listed as "traditional." Despite the fact that it sounds a whole lot like the Dixon/Wolf version. Dixon had a slam dunk lawsuit against the T-Birds. But the Birds got lucky. Dixon was after bigger game. Namely, Led Zeppelin. Eventually Dixon and Zep settled out of court. But Dixon got millions, if not tens of millions of dollars.

I think this is awesome.

@TDKIII No completely different song. The original is By Juke Boy Bonner. Look it up it's on youtube.

The blues is a a derivative style of music. Willie Dixon sued Led Zepplin for copping one of his tunes.

What's really cool is the T-Bird's version differs from Juke Boy Bonner's in that Juke Boy's original is done at a faster clip with just guitar & harp, whereas the 'Bird's version is slowed down some, the rhythm's more gutbucket & thicker, and the beat gives it a catchy groove--thus both versions are way recommended. Music fans who think the 'Birds only did "Tuff Enuff" might have their knowledge broadened by this earlier track. When that opening riff starts I can't help but stand at attention!

this sounds like a version of Down in the Bottom by Howlin' Wolf and Willie Dixon...why the title change?
