Bronsonic, the latest album by the American doom metal band Fister, is a brutal and uncompromising sonic assault that will leave listeners reeling. From the opening chords of "Disgraced Possession," the album sets a tone of relentless aggression and unrelenting darkness.
Throughout the album's eight tracks, Fister delivers a punishing blend of sludge, doom, and death metal that is both punishing and cathartic. The band's signature use of punishing riffs, thunderous drums, and guttural vocals creates a sound that is both oppressive and exhilarating.
Standout tracks on the album include "I Am Kuru," with its crushing, slow-burning riffs and haunting vocals, and "Bronsonic," which features a pounding, groove-heavy rhythm that is impossible to resist. Notes
- These were made by the band and sold at some of their early shows for $5. There are an unknown number of these but I've been told by the band there weren't a ton of them made. The track list varies slightly from the Lethal Overdose Edition.
- Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Thad Martin at Firebrand Recording on October 24th, 2010. 'Riff Glacier' was self recorded at 3424 in December 2009.
- Limited to 100 'Smokey Tint' pro-tapes.
