Beautiful, playful and virtuosic Polanaise!! I'm thrilled by the story-telling drama herein. Transitions from one voice to another, all the while maintaining a forward moving line, connecting one "paragraph" to the next. Marvelous in its complexity when one considers Chopin created this piece at such a young age! "If only" he had lived longer!! Who knows? As always, thanks to David for bringing this to our listening ears, accompanied by informative notes.

I love to finally hear one of the Polonaises Chopin wrote as a young boy!! This piece gives us an idea of his early concept of virtuosity,and even if it doesn't touch the level of the seven "great" polonaises of the mature years,it's a nice pleasant piece that deserves to be heard!!

A magnificent powerful pianist. I just listened again to her rendition in 1958 of the preludes with your upload of 2012. I heard her for the first time in 1960 (150th birthday of Chopin) when many records of Polish pianists in my country became available. Thanks !
