American popular singer and vocal entertainer rooted in jazz.
Born August 17, 1919 Worcester, Massachusetts; Died December 9, 2006 (age 87) New York City, New York.
She began singing at the age of 13. he joined the in 1936 (age 17), and toured with them for 10 months as Fredda Gibson.
She charted 25 times solo and once with a duet with Bob Crosby. Four of her recordings rose to the top 5--"Kiss of Fire" which hit #1 in 1952, "Dance with Me Henry (Wallflower)" which hit #1 in 1955, "Tweedlee Dee

Denna låt lyssnade jag och min livskamrat på en jukebox sommaren 1957 Hammarstrand. fyra skivor för 1 krona. De var tider de och mycket bättre musik.
