GISM - Nervous Corps

Nervous Corps, the 1985 album by Japanese punk band GISM, is a chaotic and intense experience that showcases the group's unique blend of hardcore punk, heavy metal, and industrial noise. From the opening track "Endless Blockades for the Pussyfooter" to the epic closing number "Meaning Corrupted," the album is a non-stop barrage of distorted guitars, pounding drums, and snarling vocals.
One of the standout tracks is "Death Agonies and Screams," which features a relentless, driving rhythm and some of the album's most memorable lyrics. Another highlight is "Still Alive," a slower, more atmospheric track that builds to a stunning climax with its haunting guitar solos and eerie spoken-word passages.

About GISM
G.I.S.M. is a Japanese Hardcore PunkHeavy Metal band from Tokyo, formed in 1981. The band split after Randy Uchida's death in 2001.
After more than a decade of silence G.I.S.M. played a show at the 2016 Roadburn Festival in Tilburg, Netherlands. It was their first show ever outside of Japan.
The acronym G.I.S.M. can stand for: Guerilla Incendiary Sabotage Mutineer, God In the Schizoid Mind, Gay Individual Social Mean, Gnostic Idiosyncracy Sonic Militant, etc.
