The band's name is a play on words of the Grand Trunk and Western Railroad, a railroad line that ran through the band's home town of Flint, Michigan.

I remember hearing about an incident in England/UK where GFRR performed and for some reason were booed and Mark said if anyone else can play come on up.
Eric Clapton apparently was there and I don't know if he played but what a mess.
Farners vocals and Grand Funks songs are on a level far above the Creams & this song will far outlive anything the Cream ever created.
I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THIS SONG!!!
Whiteroom by Cream is a great song & Jack Bruce's vocals are really good & Claptons blues rock guitar riffs are great but they will never compare to Mark Farners FANTASTIC vocal abilities!!!
