Guy Davis' album Chocolate To The Bone is a soulful and bluesy collection of songs that showcases his exceptional talent as a musician and storyteller. The album features a mix of original compositions and covers, all of which are performed with Davis' signature gritty vocals and masterful guitar playing.
The title track, "Chocolate To The Bone," is a standout with its infectious groove and catchy chorus. Davis' cover of Blind Willie McTell's "Statesboro Blues" is also a highlight, with its driving rhythm and Davis' expressive slide guitar work.
