Ham - Ham í Reykjavík

Review by Jason Neilsen

Ham í Reykjavík is an album by the Icelandic punk rock band Ham. The album is a raw and energetic display of the band's punk roots, with a mix of political and social commentary in the lyrics.

The album opens with the track "Dauður Drengur," which sets the tone for the rest of the album with its fast-paced guitar riffs and aggressive vocals. The album then moves on to "Ó, Margt," a slower and more melodic track with a catchy chorus.

Throughout the album, Ham tackles topics such as capitalism, environmentalism, and the struggle of the working class. The band's political views are clearly expressed in tracks like "Fávitar" and "Ógnarstjarna," which criticize the corruption of politicians and the inequality of society.
