Review by Jebb Cabriana

Do Not Enter by Jay Bee is a stunning album that showcases the artist's incredible talent and versatility. From the opening track, listeners are immediately drawn into a world of haunting melodies, intricate beats, and thought-provoking lyrics.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Lost in Translation," which features Jay Bee's signature blend of electronic and hip-hop influences. The song's catchy chorus and introspective verses make it a standout favorite among fans.

Another standout track is "No Regrets," which features a more mellow, introspective vibe. The song's stripped-down instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics make it a poignant and emotional listen.

Throughout the album, Jay Bee showcases his ability to seamlessly blend different genres and create a cohesive, unique sound. Whether he's experimenting with electronic beats, hip-hop rhythms, or soulful melodies, he always manages to keep listeners engaged and entertained.

About Jay Bee

American singer-songwriter born in New Bedford, Massachusetts began writing and recording songs such as The Beaten / The Super Rap / Concrete / and Just Rappin, under the name Jay-Bee in 1979. In 1987 he recorded the song, My Nymphomaniac, and in 1988 he formed a two-man group called, ONE-TWO (Featuring: Jay-Bee & T. Perry). They performed a song titled, NO, at the RAP IT UP Rhode Island talent show held at the Roger Williams Park Temple of Music in Providence, Rhode Island. The theme was substance abuse. After winning second place, he wrote, The Fork, and soon after that, they were invited to join other contestants who wrote and recorded songs that were all featured on the full-length Rap It Up! cassette, sponsored by the Urban League of Rhode Island. It was released on September 24, 1988. When the duo lost contact, Jay-Bee went on a brief hiatus and returned in 1991 embarking on a mission to continue writing and recording several projects up until 1993. He sporadically recorded and released his music in 1998, and 2001, and returned with a vengeance in 2015, reinventing himself with the name change, Johnny JayBee Barboza. He continues to record and self-release his independent records to this present day.
