Just today saw Nashville for the first time. I had no idea that Keith Carradine was in it - nor was I aware that he was the guy who sang this wildly popular song. BTW he also played Lou Solverson in the TV series Fargo Season 1 in 2014 alongside Alison Tolman, Martin Freeman. Bob Odenkirk, and Billy Bob Thornton.

I have not herd this mans story or this song. I only know of his brother David of KILL BILL fame. I like how that song won the oscar despite the fact that he was up against Diana Ross and the studio where he recorded this version was not even confident enough to sign him.
