This album may have been released on Friday the 13th, but there ain't nothing bad or unlucky about it. Originally titled City Life, Sunset Boulevard is the 11th release from The Bandcamp/Spotify Sessions. The theme is basically urban, jazzy, experimental pop music. These songs aren't really meant to be in the background but they're not too overpowering to be spoken over. There is definitely an eclectic mix of selections on here, from the edgy title track fuelled by foley drums to the jazzy hip-hop number "Skippin' School Today". Also, a notable inclusion is the second installment in the "Late Night R&B" series, which started on Songs in the Key of OJ.
