Legendary Pink Dots' latest album, 8118, is a mesmerizing journey through the band's signature avant-garde soundscapes. The album is a sonic exploration of the band's diverse influences, ranging from psychedelic rock to experimental electronic music.
The album opens with "Happy Birthday Mr. President," an eerie track that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The song features Edward Ka-Spel's haunting vocals, which are layered over a sparse arrangement of electronic beats and atmospheric sounds.

Notes
- Track 1 was drawn from The Silverman’s excursions on his Victorian harmonium back in 1981 and early 82. A suite was created, drawing in field recordings (on cassette) and vocal experiments from that time.
- Track 2 was recorded as a response to the results of track 1, utilising modern creations and the rusty remains of far older sound devices.
- The covers were created by The Silverman based on the photography of Astrid Mutsars. Many weeks were spent manipulating and transforming images from the area where he lives into a much stranger terrain.
- Limited edition of 40 copies, each with a unique handmade cover. Includes a full color double-sided insert.
