The album Concerto No 1 In E Flat Major For Piano Orchestra And No 2 In A Major For Piano Orchestra by Liszt Edith Farnadi, Orchestra Of The Vienna State Opera Conductor Hermann Scherchen is an exceptional piece of classical music that showcases the talents of some of the most accomplished musicians of the time. The album features two of Liszt's most renowned piano concertos, performed with great skill and precision by Edith Farnadi, who brings a sense of depth and emotion to the music, and is ably supported by the Orchestra Of The Vienna State Opera, under the expert guidance of conductor Hermann Scherchen.

The first concerto, in E-flat Major, is a masterpiece of romanticism, with its sweeping melodies and virtuosic piano passages. Farnadi's interpretation is both powerful and sensitive, capturing the essence of Liszt's vision and bringing the music to life in a way that is both thrilling and deeply moving. The orchestra, too, is in fine form, providing a rich and nuanced accompaniment that perfectly complements the piano.

The second concerto, in A Major, is equally impressive, with its intricate interplay between the piano and the orchestra. Farnadi again demonstrates her mastery of the instrument, playing with a fluidity and grace that is truly breathtaking. Scherchen and the orchestra provide a dynamic and energetic backdrop that highlights the complex rhythms and harmonies of the piece.

Born: October 22, 1811, Doborján, Austria-Hungary (present-day Raiding, Austria). Died: July 31, 1886, Bayreuth, Germany. Franz Liszt was a Hungarian composer, virtuoso pianist, conductor, music teacher, arranger, organist, philanthropist, author, nationalist and a Franciscan tertiary. He was a renowned performer throughout Europe, noted especially for his showmanship and great skill with the piano. To this day, he is considered by some to have been the greatest pianist in history. Liszt's musical invention went into territories which were then almost unexplored, in particular as regards harmonic research, as emerges from the late piano works, which led him to anticipate fragments of harmonies from the early twentieth century. His preference for program music is testified by the numerous symphonic poems he composed. Father-in-law to .
