Protégées of the , the trio (, younger sister , and ) began their careers on Toot Records with a bang following the release of "You're the Cause of It All." Lead singer Sullivan's voice was described as a cross between 's and 's. Somewhere on the road to success The Lovables were derailed. Though the group released a number and produced recordings, nationwide fame eluded them, and their success was only regional. The ladies shined at the Apollo and other local venues in the New York area where they were popular. After the release of the "Take Me For A Little While" single, the group faded into obscurity.
