I'm with my girlfriend on a musical trip that brought us to Nashville and by coincidence we saw sir Gayden perform this song a couple of days ago in The Station Inn and we were completely blown away by his performance, still going strong! Love it!

I saw Mac play this at the Exit Inn in Nashville in the late 70s. Great show. I think its the same show where Cat Stevens sat behind me, drunker than a skunk but pleasant enough.

Found it! I back-tracked the Purify Bros version and punched in Mac Gayden's name and presto! I have been searching for this song for three freakin' decades! Now all I have to do is figure out that amazing slide work. Gimme a week or two: piece o' cake. (Time to dig out the wah pedal, though)
