Matter - Loss

Review by Ed Gray

Matter's latest album, Loss, is a hauntingly beautiful and introspective journey through grief and heartache. From the opening track, "Empty," to the album's closer, "Closure," the listener is taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

The album's production is top-notch, with each instrument and sound perfectly placed to create a truly immersive experience. The vocals are raw and emotional, perfectly capturing the pain and sadness of the album's themes.

One standout track is "Fading," which features a stunning piano melody that builds to a crescendo of crashing drums and soaring vocals. Another memorable moment comes in "Regret," which features a haunting guitar riff that perfectly sets the tone for the song's somber lyrics.
