Methods of Mayhem's self-titled debut album is a high-octane fusion of rock, rap, and electronic music that showcases the eclectic talents of frontman Tommy Lee and his bandmates. About Methods Of Mayhem
Methods of Mayhem is an American rock band formed in 1999 by , who had temporarily quit his position as 's drummer.
Lee formed Methods of Mayhem on the eve of his divorce from . Their first self-titled album was released in late 1999 and went on to be certified gold. The album featured appearances by , , , , , , and . The band disbanded in September 2000.
Tommy Lee announced that he is reforming Methods of Mayhem, and would start recording in March 2009. Rumors of new members such as drummer Will Hunt, guitarist J3, guitarist Phil X (who had contributed to the first album), and the return of touring bassist Marty O'brien circulated. While an official touring line-up still has yet to be confirmed, it is known that each of these members have contributed to the latest album. A live performance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno saw Morgan Rose (of Sevendust) playing drums, with DJ Aero on Turntables, J3 on guitar and vocals, and Tommy Lee on vocals and guitar. There was no bass player present. Methods of Mayhem recently have been signed to Loud & Proud/Roadrunner Records.
The band's self-titled debut featured a rap metal style, while A Public Disservice Announcement was more varied in style, covering genres such as rap rock, nu metal and dance-rock.

I have this album on CD and cassette. "New Skin" is my favorite song from that album even though it was a single. Methods of Mayhem set on tha mainstage of The Ozzfest 2000 was pure mayhem!

I still remember being 9 years old staying up late watching music vids and this was the coolest shit I ever saw... I love Tommy lee he was my first rockstar I wanted to be cool like... didn't care about motley crue or 80s shit

Truth be told, Kid Rock fought Tommy because Tommy took Kid's verse off. So he stole Pamela and ditched her after his rage couldn't be sated. So he walked right up to Tommy Lee and popped his face and everyone made a ruckus and thought Pamela mattered in this whole deal.
