Review by Paul Harvey

The Janice Long Session by Mighty Lemon Drops is a must-have for fans of the band and lovers of indie rock. The album features the band's live performance on the BBC Radio 1 show hosted by Janice Long in 1986. The energy and passion of the band are palpable in every track, and the rawness of the recording adds to the overall charm of the album.

From the opening track "My Biggest Thrill" to the closing number "Like An Angel", the band delivers a powerful and dynamic performance. The guitar work of David Newton and Paul Marsh is particularly impressive, and the rhythm section of Tony Linehan on bass and Keith Rowley on drums keeps things tight and driving.

The standout track on the album is undoubtedly "Inside Out", which showcases the band's ability to write catchy and memorable hooks. The song is an instant classic and has become a fan favorite over the years. Other highlights include "The Other Side Of You" and "Out Of Hand", which both feature strong vocal performances by singer/guitarist David Newton.
