Neal Hefti and Frances Wayne’s collaborative album, Mean To Me Somebody Loves Me, is a delightful collection of jazz classics that will transport you to a bygone era. The album features Hefti’s masterful arrangements and Wayne’s smooth, sultry vocals, resulting in a truly captivating sound.

The album opens with the upbeat track “I Can’t Believe That You’re In Love With Me,” which sets the tone for the rest of the album. Wayne’s vocals are silky smooth, and Hefti’s arrangements are lively and energetic. The album also includes the classic “Mean To Me,” which showcases Wayne’s ability to convey emotion through her voice.

One of the standout tracks on the album is “You’re Driving Me Crazy,” which features a swinging horn section and Wayne’s playful vocals. Another highlight is “All Of Me,” which is a beautiful ballad that allows Wayne to showcase her range and emotion.
