The Channel is the club you're thinking of. As for the Sex Execs, The bass player Paul Corduroy is a big time producer (Hole, among other bands) and I Jerome Duprey (drums) went on to replace Morphine's original drummer until Sandman's death. Jim Fitting who played harmonica toward the end is still playing locally - and I saw him playing in The The in the 90's.

Yes. Michael played on these recordings but then left. Matt Thurber, brother of keyboard player, Stephen, joined the band and stayed until the breakup. Jesse Mayer of Fingerpaint, also a band with an MTV video, was Shake The Faith's drummer. Both STF EP's are now up on Reverbnation.

I knew about you guys. We went to your shows many times after New Models split - right up until you guys also split. Such a shame...so much talent.

The club was The Channel and I rocked it with Casey many times... I formed Shake The Faith with Casey after New Models... surprised you guys didn't know about that band. Much heavier sound but tore up Boston radio for a couple years... STF were also "on the fast track" until we split in '89 due to drummer problems, too. Search YouTube, Facebook or Reverbnation and you'll find the tunes + a few rare videos... Peace.
