British DJ and label owner of . Weston has been running club nights in the UK since 1995. His Mukatsuku night launch with two friends in 1996, with the London Evening Standard nominating it as club night of the year in 1997. Since then, Weston has played on the jazz-dance scene, spinning globally. For four years he was monthly resident at 's Jazz Rooms in Brighton, then later DJ'd at various London venues including The Jazz Cafe, , and a residency at Smiths in Farringdon. Began by doing promotions for , where he stayed for five years, until starting consultancy at labels and . In 2001 he begun running promotional company Mukatsuku PR, while also doing A&R for the label , and freelance music consultant work for other labels. In 2005, he started working while working at (www.juno.co.uk), and became their Japanese music buyer. In 2006, he started his label , continuing to run it part time. As a DJ, he's toured Japan several times supporting his various compilations & single releases. His first major trip in 2001 was as part of the 's tour, with and . He's also played on Tokyo's Shibuya FM, and guest on 's radio show (Tokyo & Fukuoka), along with playing at the Room Club in Tokyo. Weston has also played at the Big Chill Festival at Eastnor Castle, and in 2004 did a hour-long music special. He previously did two regular radio shows: one with called Forwardsbackwards on Milkaudio, the other Konnichi Wah Wah with on Samurai FM. Weston has been concentrating more on his vinyl only label Mukatsuku Records, often releasing special track edits with (aka ) under the name . He is married to .
