Paul Revere & The Raiders' album "Steppin Out Blue Fox" is a timeless classic that showcases the band's versatility and musical prowess. The album features a collection of upbeat and catchy tracks that are sure to get listeners grooving along.

From the opening notes of "Steppin Out," the album sets a high-energy tone that is maintained throughout. The band's signature sound is evident in tracks like "Ups and Downs" and "Good Thing," which are sure to be fan favorites.

Enough of the Beatles and Rolling Stones at that time. Paul Revere and the Raiders should get an honorable mention.

Hi. Sounds good. YES is my very favorite, saw them at the Moore recently, and Jon A, solo, at the Triple Door, a year ago. Both excellent. Hope they can mend their feuds and get together.
Apparently, Anne and Nancy AND Roger are talking about making a reunion album together . Unverified, but someone told me this. I used to live behind the girlhood home of the girls (different time)

Very informative and a quick read, you''ll understand more about Seattles gritty blues based music. Ray Charles got a career boost here and Fats Domino and Little Richard and others toured through here in the early 50's plus the locals. Worth it!!!
I'm a pretty big YES fan myself! so like your avatar

No unfortunately, he'd split for England in 65.
Once again I'd strongly recommend getting 'SONIC BOOM from Louie-Louie to smellls like teen spirit' by Peter Blecha. He's done a wonderful job in pinning down the Seattle music scene from the end of WW2 up through very recent groups like Death cab-
$20.00 from AMAZON It also has a very good discography in the back.

Hi. Thanks for the info. It is always great to improve my Seattle music history. Did you ever see Jimi?

Paul Rogers (Bad Co.) who lives in Fife sometimes gets other local big name guys together and turn up @ the Emerald Queen Casino as 'Dipstick and the whatevers' or some other silly name and open for a touring band or singer and usually donate their compensation to a charity.
Want pre Dick Dale surf? The Four Frantics 'Werewolf' from 1958 and 'Fogcutter'. Before surf music had a name.

That sounds great. I moved here in 1981, but think that we have always had a great music scene. Lots of great musicians live here, Alan White (YES) (Newcastle); Ventures' 2 members, Steve Miller, part of the year. Anne and Nancy, at least Anne, Moby Grape has a couple of members. Roger Fisher,

This is the Northwest rock scene, this stuff was everyday on Seattle radio in the mid 60's.
Check other Seattle sound groups, SONICS (grandparents of grunge and garage sound), DYNAMICS with Jimmy Hanna, The Kingsmen (for a laugh, real life local hit 'Jolly Green Giant'), the Viceroys, Ventures, the fabulous Wailers (not the Marley band). Merilee Rush-the list of influential Seattle bands goes on and on. Used to see P.R. & the R at The Target Ballroom in Burien in 64/65.
