Bought this single when it was first released in 1965. Only one store in the area stocked it, and I figured I'd better grab it or I'd never see it again. Still have it, too. For my money, it's the definitive version of this song.

Awesome. Growing up in Orlando, they didn't play Dylan's original on the radio. But they did play this, so for many years I thought this was how the song went. Then when I did start hearing other versions, I would think "they are messing this song up". I could never find it again until now (2018). My favorite cover of it, and I much prefer the rhythm of this. Thanks for putting it up.

I seem to recall that Pete had a Swedish version of this monumental cover of Dylan's classic and, if memory serves, Pete's version here was the first 45 single of The Times They Are A Changin'. I think that this is the greatest record of the folk rock movement. Countless covers of this song, but Pete's is definitive. The eight mile high guitar buzz, along with the Hammond organ chiming in the final stanza drives me up the wall every time I hear it. Then there's the angst in Pete's vocal timbre, he sang his heart out on this one. Peter Antell-- what a talent. I love every record he ever made and I can't imagine growing up in the 1960's without him. I am the proud owner of the original 45 single, Yo Me Pregunto, a song he wrote for The Valrays, a cult Latin doo wop classic.
