When I was maybe, 15 or 16 years old, circa: '84-'85 etc etc, I heard the original '59 Neil Sedaka version and played the hell out of it. I would later figure out, that he used the melody from "Little Darlin' " by The Diamonds, another favorite of mine, for "Oh Carol". The response record, "Oh Neil" by Carole King, is good too. Great music back then, better days. Great upload. I had never heard this later version of it.

I have been looking absolutely *EVERYWHERE* for this song, but I couldn't, for the *LIFE OF ME* , remember the name of the band who performed it. It was driving me to despair, or at least, to supreme irritation. Now that I've found it, I am so happy I could sigh (I did, indeed, heave a huge sigh of relief when I found it).
