PleasureForever's self-titled album is a refreshing and unique addition to the indie rock scene. The band's blend of shoegaze, post-punk, and dream pop creates a sound that is both familiar and fresh.
The album's opening track, "This Is the End," sets the tone with its driving bassline and ethereal vocals. From there, the album takes the listener on a journey through moody tracks like "Goodnight Moon" and "Mystery Train" to the more upbeat and danceable "Visions" and "You and I."
The standout track on the album is "Czarina," a haunting and hypnotic song that showcases lead singer Rachel Stolte's range and emotive power. The band's use of layered guitars and synths creates a lush and immersive sound that draws the listener in.

About PleasureForever
After disbanded, went on to start and , while the band's other three members regrouped in San Francisco in the late 90s as Slaves who changed their name to Pleasure Forever in 2000/2001. They disbanded shortly after "Alter" in 2003, but released a posthumous compilation in 2007.
